The Nostalgia Machine: Take a Fun Trip Down Music Memory Lane!

When you think of tech you may think of the future. But sometimes tech takes us on a fun journey back in time so we can relive memories of days gone by.

The Nostalgia Machine is a new website developed by J. Doran and E. Slevin that can remind you what music was like in years past. We may forget what songs were popular way back when, but The Nostalgia Machine can quickly transport us back to the familiar songs of old. Or not so old…

To get started, head to The Nostalgia Machine website and pick the year in time you want to travel back to and get your Jam On. Then click the Hit Me! button.

The Nostalgia Machine will show you 100 hit songs from that year. You can go all the way back to 1960 or any year since then, up to 2013.

The collection isn’t an official list of the top 100 hit songs, but it may be even better than that. This collection is designed to bring back nostalgic memories for you.

The site recommends picking a childhood year for best results. You can choose the year you were born to see what songs were popular then.

But who really remembers music from the year they were born?

So check out the year you first started school. Do you remember which songs were popular then? Pick the year you became a teenager or graduated high school. Remember what songs were playing at your high school prom?
