NORAD – Tracking Santa Across the Globe!

The estimated reading time for this post is 0 minutes

If you and your family are wondering about Santa’s whereabouts as he crosses the globe in search of nice children to bestow gifts upon, check with NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defense Command. NORAD keeps watch on the skies above and will help you follow Santa’s journey.

Santa Christmas

Head to NORAD’s website to see where Santa is at the moment. You can also have fun at Santa’s Christmas Village on the site with interactive games for the kids to play as they’re waiting for Santa’s arrival.

Make sure to check out the videos from troops stationed around the world, sending holiday greetings. There is also a link for you to contribute to different charities that support the troops and their families.

Here’s a video from Santa’s trip around the world in 2010:

NORAD apps for tracking Santa are also available for iPhones and Android phones. NORAD Tracks Santa in the:

iTunes App Store and

Android Market.

Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

    Hi Carolyn,

Awesome app. Santa is close by right now, we’re getting ready (especially my kids). We didn’t get a white Christmas, but we have sun 🙂

    Merry Christmas Carolyn.

Such an important service you are providing to parents and children today. We used to have cousins in Australia and this would have come in very handy back then. You are officially Santa’s Tech Elf! Have a wonderful holiday!

Carolyn, is there an app for everything or does it just seem that way?

By the way, are your children filled with the Wonder of Tech or are all young people these days intoc tech? Probably they are since it has always been a part of their lives.

    Until later, aloha. Janet

Hi Janet, you’re right, it does seem as if there is an app for everything!

My girls love tech too. I gave each of them a website address with their name .com. Who knows? Someday they might have their own blogs.
