Good news! Electronic Arts is having a sale on some of its high quality iPhone games such as Scrabble, Monopoly, Tetris, Sims 3, Pictureka!, Mirror’s Edge, Risk, Need for Speed, Madden NFL 11, NCAA Football, and FIFA 11. EA had a big sale on its apps in December, but if you missed out on grabbing these apps, you have another chance this weekend. Note that the sale is only on iPhone apps, not iPad apps, is only in the US App Store and the sale ends tomorrow.
Apps on sale from other developers include Sonic the Hedgehog, Cro-Mag Rally, TomTom (both US and US & Canada), and Skyfire Web Browser (both the iPhone and iPad Skyfire apps are on sale). Check them out now so you don’t miss out on the sale prices!
Thinking of trading up to a new phone? Check out Radio Shack’s new Trade In Program. Similar to Gazelle and eBay’s Instant Sale program (see, Getting an iPad 2? What To Do with Your Original iPad), Radio Shack will buy your old phone and either give you credit toward a new phone or give you a Radio Shack gift card. Click on this link Trade In Program to find out how much your phone is worth at Radio Shack.

Thanks for the app news! I was so mad I missed the EA sale in December. I hate to pay full price when I know there was a sale. Any owrd when the EA iPad apps will be on sale?

Hi Gigi, Welcome to The Wonder of Tech! I’m glad you are able to grab EA apps at the sale price. I agree, it’s frustrating to learn you missed a sale.
No word yet on when and if EA iPad apps will be on sale soon. My guess is that EA is putting the iPhone apps on sale to prompt new iPad owners to buy EA iPad apps (at full price). The Wonder of Tech will keep you posted!

im not such a fan of EA, mainly because i heard they support SOPA.

Hi Clickopp, Welcome to The Wonder of Tech. According to my sources, EA has not taken a position on SOPA so you can continue being a fan! (See, EA explains lack of SOPA stance.)
