Apple Launches Apple One Subscription Bundle — Here’s How It Could Save You Money

The estimated reading time for this post is 4 minutes

When you see Apple launching a new service, you may be tempted to spend money to try it out. But with Apple One, Apple’s new subscription bundle, you may be saving money instead of spending more money.

And you may get to try new Apple services you haven’t previously used.

Apple One Subscription Bundle

What Is Apple One?

Apple One is a new subscription bundle that was announced by Apple in September. With Apple One, you pay a single monthly fee for multiple Apple services.

If you already subscribe to several Apple Services, you may save quite a bit of money by signing up for Apple One.

What Apple One Includes

Apple One has three plans that could save you between $6 to $25 per month:

  • Individual for $14.95 per month that includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 50 GB of iCloud storage. According to Apple, Individual plan subscribers save $6 per month over purchasing these services separately.
  • Family for $19.95 per month that can be shared with up to five family members and includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 200 GB of iCloud storage. According to Apple, Family plan subscribers save $8 per month over purchasing these services separately.
  • Premier for $29.95 per month that can be shared with up to five family members and includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News +,  Apple Fitness+, and 2 TB of iCloud storage. According to Apple, Premier plan subscribers save $25 per month over purchasing these services separately.

Note that the Premier plan is offered only in Australia, Canada, the U.K., and the U.S., where Apple News+ is available.

Apple Services

When deciding whether Apple One can save you money, you may want to think about which Apple services you would use. Also consider how much each service costs when purchased separately.

I personally don’t use any of the Apple services and I am not planning to do so. The devices are already too expensive and there are similar services for free.

Hi Dave, Apple One is certainly not a good fit for you, then. It sounds as if it wouldn’t be worth it for you to even sign up for the free month trial. But for those already using some Apple services, Apple One may save them money every month.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, Dave.
