Hi Carolyn,
Oh…I am already inspired looking at all these awesome pictures π
You know how much I love Pinterest, and it’s tough nowadays to get away from it because of these lovely pins people keep putting up. I love the Christmas decorating ideas, the recipes, and the gifts too.
You shared some lovely boards that I need to check out additionally now. More than half the time one’s glued to seeing and reading all of these awesome things people have to share – I surely am running late in my replying to comments, thanks to Pinterest!!
Thanks for sharing these with us. Pinterest rocks, and so do YOU π Have a nice week ahead π
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Thanks, Harleena. Yes, writing Pinterest articles takes about 300% longer than writing other articles because it’s so easy to get drawn in by those amazing pins. I will look at pinboards and the next thing I know it’s an hour later and I haven’t written a word in my article!
I’m glad you’re a Pinterest fan too and that you are enjoying these fantastic boards. I hope they inspire you to have a fun and festive holiday season, Harleena!

Pinterest is great as an aspirational social network. While we have heard mostly good things about treadmill desks, not so sure it would be a good fit with the type of work we do.
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi John, Yes, I wonder how easily I could use my computer on a treadmill desk. But what a great way to multi-task!
Xuhair Raxa says
i am fresh blogger but never use Pinterest for my blog but now i am thinking of using it
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Xuhair, Welcome to The Wonder of Tech! Yes, Pinterest is a great source of traffic for my blog, but that’s not the main reason I enjoy Pinterest. I would visit that site even without any traffic from them. Pinterest is a very inspiring site for me.

Hi Carolyn,
I havenβt been using Pinteresting in a very long time, but now that I see all those nice Christmas images, and your guide, I really want to start using it again. I am not sure why I stopped, I guess it might be because I started using Instagram and I am using all those other social networks as well. Itβs hard to keep up with everything.
Btw, that treadmill desk looks awesome π

Hi Jens, Yes, it can be very difficult to keep up with all the social media sites so you have to focus on the ones you enjoy the most. Pinterest is one of my favorites. I’m on Pinterest a lot, even when I’m not writing about it.
I know, that laptop desk treadmill is amazing. I would love one of those!

Hi Carolyn,
I’ve been checking out ideas on Pinterest. I think some of the people who collect images have really good taste. I see a lot I like from food ideas to French style kitchens. Designers should take note of what’s on there and see what people really like and not what they are forced to buy because of lack of choice!
I explained camera settings on one of my posts this week, so if you want info on apertures, speed, ISO and white balance that’s the one! The one on a Zillion Ideas showed how to do something a bit artistic with a distort in PhotoScape. We had sunshine for an hour earlier and I didn’t have much to do, but it didn’t last long. Hopefully, I’ll get a canal picture on Sunday. Sun and showers forecast and I’m planning to use a tripod!
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Mike, I really enjoyed your post on distortions. Very cool! I never got into photography enough to mess with the different settings, Auto was my setting of choice.
Nanda Rahmanius says
I love Pinterest and I also often use it π
With the given image, Pinterest is great for decorating, recipes and even gifts. I just need to find the right boards for this purpose, as is the case with this article.
Nice article. Thank you for sharing with us Carolyn.
Hope you can enjoy your weekend :-bd
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Nanda, I’m so pleased that this article helped you to find new boards on Pinterest. Exploring Pinterest is fun, but can be time consuming when you are finding boards that don’t quite fit what you’re looking for. Holiday boards can be a very useful source of inspiration.
Happy holidays, Nanda!
Nanda Rahmanius says
Yes, it is very unpleasant find boards that do not fit with what we were looking for. It was such a waste of precious time.
I often found unique and new images that I had never encountered elsewhere, maybe that’s why exploration Pinterest is fun. π
Thanks for the advice, Carolyn.
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
You’re very welcome, Nanda!
