Not sure what to get Dad for Father’s Day? These tech gifts are sure to please your father, whether or not he’s a tech fan.
Even if your dad is difficult to buy for, you’ll find a fun and useful gift in this list. Whether your budget is small or exceedingly generous, you’re bound to be inspired by these gift ideas for your dad.
You may even find a gift for yourself. You deserve a treat!
Running Belt for Phones
If your father is a runner but doesn’t want a phone bouncing around in his pocket, get him a running belt. This belt will keep his phone secure against his waist so he can listen to his favorite tunes while he exercises.
His phone can be nestled in the water-resistant pouch to protect it from rain or sweat. There is a second pocket to keep his credit card, ID, keys and/or power bar with him while he’s out and about.
This running belt from Govivo has a pouch large enough for big screen phones in thick cases and is available from Amazon. The Govivo belt is currently on sale for $16.97.
Mpow Bluetooth Receiver/Transmitter
If your dad likes to watch TV late at night (hey, sometimes those games go into triple overtime), you may struggle to sleep. The Mpow Bluetooth Receiver/Transmitter can take the sound of your TV and send it to Bluetooth headphones.
Instead of cranking up the volume and bothering others, you can use the Mpow as a Bluetooth transmitter to listen through Bluetooth headphones. Plug the Mpow into the TV, pair it with your headphones and listen as loud as you like while the rest of the house enjoys silence.
The Mpow also works as a Bluetooth receiver. Flip a switch on the device to change it from transmitting to receiving, then plug it into your home stereo to send tunes from your phone to your speakers.
No need to worry about having an outlet close by, the Mpow has a battery so you can use it on the go.
The Mpow Bluetooth Receiver/Transmitter is available from Amazon, currently on sale for $23.99.

Pourous Apple Watch Band
If your dad already has an Apple Watch, consider getting him a porous watch band for it. Using the Apple Watch as a fitness tracker means that he’s probably sweating when he wears it. A porous band makes wearing the watch more comfortable when you perspire.
Apple has a Nike collection that includes porous bands in a variety of colors beginning at $44.
Or you can get a porous band for his Apple Watch from a different manufacturer on Amazon. This band from Hailan comes in various colors with prices starting at $13.99. Hailan Watch Band on Amazon.
Jetpack MiFi
If your dad needs Wi-Fi on the go, check out the Jetpack MiFi. This portable Wi-Fi hotspot gives a speedy, secure Internet connection. It works in over 200 countries and weighs only 5.38 oz (152.5g).
The MiFi can double as a charger for smartphones and small mobile accessories. Verizon currently has the Jetpack MiFi on sale for $49.99 with a 2-year contract.
RadPower Mini Bike
Give your father more fun for his commute with the RadPower Mini Bike. This bicycle folds into a compact size to help it fit into tight spaces.
The RadPower also comes with an electric motor for powering up those steep hills. The motor helps propel the bike at speeds up to 20 mph/32 kmh. The bike has a headlight for riding at night and an LCD display including speedometer, wattmeter, and odometer.
This video shows the RadPower in action:
The RadPower Mini Bike is available in white or black from the company’s website for $1499.
Wear24
If your father has an Android phone and has been wanting to get a smart watch, check out the Wear24 watch. This smart watch can connect directly to the Internet, even if you leave your phone behind.
Stream music, use GPS and mapping and get phone calls and text messages without your phone being connected to the watch.
Choose from different interactive watch faces, including Classic, Modern, Active and Casual.
Adding a data plan for the Wear24 will cost $5/month for Verizon customers or you can use the Watch without a data plan using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Wear24 is available in three colors from Verizon for $299.99 with a 2-year plan and $349.99. Wear24 from Verizon.
Bose SoundTouch Wireless Link Adapter
Turn any home stereo system into a wireless system with the Bose SoundTouch Wireless Link Adapter. If your father has an older sound system and wants to stream music wirelessly to it, then the SoundTouch can help him do that.
The SoundTouch plugs into your sound system and connects via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to your tablet, phone, computer and/or smart watch. Control what’s playing via the free SoundTouch app to use streaming services such as Sirius, Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music and more.
Use the app to skip songs, change the volume and pause the music from the app. The app lets you save favorite stations on different services for easy switching.
You can also connect other apps to the SoundTouch adapter via Bluetooth so you can play podcasts, audiobooks and Apple Music from your phone.
This video shows you how the SoundTouch works:
The Bose SoundTouch Wireless Link Adapter is available from Amazon, currently on sale for $134.
Tropical Resort Tricycle
Dad may have thought his tricycle days were far behind him until he sees his Father’s Day gift! The Tropical Resort Tricycle floats on water and can transport him across the seas.
Who needs dry land when you can have so much fun floating?
This tricycle can go forward and reverse, in salt and fresh water. The seat holds two people so the family can pedal together, at a leisurely or rapid pace. The handlebar lets one or both people steer.

Hi Carolyn,
Happy Monday 🙂
Trust you to come up with the apt tech gifts for Father’s Day and each one of them is so well thought of, which makes it tough for us to decide which one to choose!
I think I’d go in for the Running Belt for Phones or the Bluetooth Receiver/Transmitter, as these could very well be the things he needs.
Of course, our parents ask for so little, and never materialistic things, but with Father’s Day just around the corner, all of these make the perfect gifts to choose from.
Thanks for sharing them with us. Have a nice week ahead 🙂

Hi Harleena, I’m so glad you like this gift list. Yes, I tried to find fun and useful tech gifts for father’s and anyone else who deserves a gift.
I got my husband a running belt when he complained that he wanted to take his phone along when he runs but didn’t like to have it bounce around in his pocket. He was thrilled to get a running belt that solved the problem.
I have the Mpow and use it to listen to the TV when I don’t want to bother other people with the sound. My kids could be doing homework while I’m preparing dinner and I can listen to the news without disturbing them.
Thanks for your comment and your wonderful shares, Harleena!
