Happy Father’s Day! If you are still deciding on what to get your father for Father’s Day or want to get some tech for yourself on sale, check out the tech sales going on today.
If your father has an iOS device (iPhone, iPad and/or iPod Touch), you are in luck. Father’s Day app sales have sprouted up all over the iTunes App Store.
Electronic Arts, a developer who doesn’t like to miss a holiday, once again has loads of its high quality apps deeply discounted in the iTunes App Store. Here is a link to my favorite iTunes search site, Zoomappy, with search results for Electronic Arts apps on sale: Electronic Arts Apps on Sale. With 34 Electronic Arts apps deeply discounted, you will have plenty of gifts to choose from! Check out Zoomappy for other iTunes apps on sale as well.
Make sure to check out the sale on Middle School Confidential iPad app Be Confident! on sale in the iTunes App Store for $0.99, marked down from $3.99 (see, Be Confident! An Interactive App for Tweens for my review of this great app).
If your Dad has an Android device, you can get him the Jenga app for free today in the Amazon App Store: Jenga.
Amazon is also having a sale today on their Instant Video. Father’s Day video rentals are $1.99 and some titles are available for purchase on sale at $3.99. Check out the titles on sale here: Amazon Instant Video Sale. Note that if he is an Amazon Prime customer, many Instant Video titles are free to watch, so maybe an Amazon Prime membership would be a good gift for him.
If your father isn’t into tech, well, feel free to grab some tech on sale for yourself. We aren’t giving my father a tech gift for Father’s Day. But we gave my father-in-law a Father’s Day tech gift (though not one on sale), a Kindle version of one of the best books I have ever read: Unbroken. We gave him a Kindle earlier this month for his birthday and he loves reading on it, so this will be a tech gift he will love (at least I hope so!).
Are you giving a tech gift to your father for Father’s Day? Are you getting a tech gift for yourself? Let us know in the Comments section below!

I am going to show this post to my wife and kids ๐
(my dad is not a user of any type of gadgets, so I’ll get him something completely different)

Hi Jens, I am so glad you are able to use this blog post as a hint for your family for Father’s Day! My dad isn’t into tech either but my father-in-law was delighted with the Kindle book we gave him today. Unbroken was the first Kindle book he downloaded by himself and he was amazed at how easy and fast the downloading process was.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Father’s Day and I hope you get the tech gifts you want! ๐

Love Zoomappy! I was just on it this afternoon searching for Education apps on sale. I love how you can search within a category, even search for sale apps within that category. I was able to find several Education sale apps that I doubt I would ever have found using i-tunes. So much easier than i-tunes!

Hi Carol, I agree, Zoomappy is the best site for searching iOS apps, especially if you want to find apps on sale. Zoomappy lets you search in so many ways, you can really focus on what you want instead of sorting through thousands of apps hoping to find a needle in the haystack.
Thanks so much for your visit and your comment!
