Congratulations to international Wonder of Tech readers who were able to get an iPad 2 this weekend! Lines were long at Apple Stores around the world as iPad fever spread like wildfire. Like thousands of buyers in the US, many international buyers were disappointed when store supplies ran out. iPad shoppers turned to the Internet and placed their orders for the iPad 2 with their country’s online Apple Stores. As with the US, the wait for the iPad 2 to be shipped is 3-4 weeks in most countries.
Here is a remarkable video of the lines outside the Apple Store in Munich. The remarkable aspect of the video is not the long lines, but the fact that the video was shot, edited and uploaded to YouTube on an iPad 2.
The language is German and I don’t speak German, but I hope one of our German Wonder of Tech readers might be able to provide a translation in the Comment Section below. Any takers?

Last week, The Wonder of Tech explained to readers the benefits of signing up for a Twitter account and tweeting your thoughts to the world in Celebrate Twitter’s Birthday! But what if after you tweet you regret your decision of sharing your innermost thoughts with everyone? Perhaps you learned new information that changed your opinion after tweeting praise about a political candidate. Or perhaps you had one drink too many and fired off an ill-considered tweet raging against your boss. Or maybe someone grabbed your phone when you weren’t looking and sent out not-so-funny tweets from your Twitter account.
No worries, The Wonder of Tech has you covered. Head to the iTunes App Store and grab Last Night Never Happened. This app allows you to delete your embarrassing tweets, Twitter direct messages, Facebook photos and Facebook comments published within the past 1-48 hours and replace them with a different message. This app is on sale for a limited time, so if you think you might need this app now or in the future, grab it while it’s on sale!

Hello Carolyn, I am happy to help you!
The German video is about the launch of the iPad 2 in a store in Munich. The first four guys are interviewed before the opening, the fifth one after.
– the first guy talks about the hype of the iPad, he wanted to know if it’s the same hype like with the iPad 1
– the second one says that you have to do something good for you with buying it
– the reporter asks the third one if he isn’t content with the iPad 1 and the answer is: Yes, but it is the new one and he wants to have it!
– the fourth one was the first in line and “really wants to have it!”
then standing ovation when the first one with an iPad 2 comes out of the store
– the fifth guy says it is the perfect size between a laptop (very big so you can’t take it everywhere) and a netbook (the screen is too small)

Hello Lisa, Welcome to The Wonder of Tech! Danke for your translation of the German in the video. I thought the video was valuable even without translating it, but your help makes the video even better!
