‘Tis the season…for tech gifts! That’s right, nothing puts a twinkle in the eyes of your loved ones more than a tech gift.
Not sure what to get those near and dear to you? A tech gift is the answer, for tech fans and non-tech fans alike. Whether they love or loathe tech, they’ll appreciate these thoughtful gifts from you.
Or perhaps people are asking you what gifts you’d like? You can start a wish list filled with tech gifts!
These gifts work well for any budget, from inexpensive to massive splurges. No matter what the spending limit is, you’re bound to find a tech gift sure to please.
These gifts are both fun and functional. Each of them can make your day go better, whether it’s bringing a smile to your face or getting a job done easier.
Ready, Set, Charge!
If your loved one has any sort of tech device, they probably need to charge that device. These charging gifts will help keep your loved one’s devices ready, set and charged, relieving stress and making sure they’re never caught with a dead battery.
Wireless Charging Pad
If your loved one has a phone that can be charged wirelessly, get them a wireless charging pad. They can rest their phone on the pad without having to worry about plugging it in.
The Urgod Fast Wireless Charger is both a phone stand and a wireless charger. Place your phone on the stand either vertically or horizontally and charge it as you use it.
This charger offers fast charging for some phones and standard charging for the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X. Be sure to check the product page for compatible phones.
The Urgod Fast Wireless Charger is available from Amazon for $15.99.
Energizer Cup Inverter
Need a charge when you’re in the car? The Energizer Cup Inverter fits in most car cup holders and lets you charge up to five devices at once. Connect up to four USB cables and one traditional plug to power almost anything.
No more fighting over who gets to charge their devices. That alone is a gift that will make everyone smile!
The Energizer Cup Inverter is available from Verizon Wireless for $39.99.
ChargeTech Plug
If you have heavy-duty power needs on the go, check out the ChargeTech Plug. Originally funded as an Indiegogo project (I backed this project last year), the Plug is a serious source of energy.
The Plug comes in two sizes Travel and Pro. The Pro has the most power but cannot be taken on airplanes.
The Plug can power devices through its outlets and USB ports. Run TV’s, computers, medical equipment, lights, blenders, phones, tablets and more, wherever you are. According to the website, the Plug can run a full-sized refrigerator for up to seven hours (I haven’t tried this with mine.)
Keep it charged for last-minute camping trips or when storms hit and you lose electricity.
This video from the Indiegogo campaign demonstrates what Plug can do:
Plug has an optional solar panel so you can charge Plug even when you’re away from wall outlets. It’s available in different version for countries around the world.
You can check out ChargeTech Plug at the ChargeTech website. Prices begin at $349.
Gifts to Tackle Typing
Does your loved one struggle to type on a virtual keyboard. Do you get strange messages where they accidentally hit the wrong keys? Oops!
Give them a gift to make typing easier:
Mixoo Stylus
Get the precision of a pen with the ease of a stylus with the Mixoo Stylus. This stylus comes in different colors and works like a finger on touch screens.
The Mixoo Stylus is thin like a pen and can perform any task a finger can perform on a touch screen phone or tablet. It also has a fabric end that you can use when you don’t need the precision of a pen.
The Mixoo Stylus is available for $10.99 from Amazon.
Logitech Bluetooth Keyboard
Don’t like typing on a virtual keyboard? Try using a Bluetooth keyboard instead.
The Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480 works with iPhones; iPads; Android devices; and Mac, Windows and Chromebook computers. You can use it with multiple devices and turn a dial on the keyboard to select between three devices.
At the top of the full-sized keyboard is a slot that works as a stand for your phone or tablet so you can prop it up while you type.
The Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480 is available from Amazon, currently on sale for $23.56.

SereneLife prints on inkless photo paper so you don’t have to worry about running out of ink. Photos are small at 2″ X 3″ so you can easily make collages and share them with your friends.

Your loved one can have music anywhere with the Wonderboom portable Bluetooth speaker. This small speaker packs a big sound and can be linked to a second Wonderboom speaker for an even bigger sound.

Each pocket is conveniently located for easy access to your tech. This vest includes a pocket large enough for your iPad, and small enough for your earbuds. In fact, you can connect your earbuds through the vest directly into your phone so the wire doesn’t get caught on anything.

If you know someone who has an Amazon Prime account, get them an Echo show for fun and information. The Show comes with Alexa, Amazon’s digital assistant you can control with your voice.

In the kitchen the Echo Show can display recipes you can follow step-by-step using just your voice. You can also control compatible smart home devices using Alexa on the Show.
The Echo Show is available in black or white from Amazon for $229.99. If you buy two (one for yourself and one for a gift, perhaps?), you can save $100 with the coupon code SHOW2PACK.

Are you looking to be the coolest parents on the block? Check out the Luke Skywalker Landspeeder that lets kids ride around as if they were in a Star Wars movie. The Landspeeder holds two children and can reach speeds of 5 mph. It even goes in reverse.
The dashboard has blinking lights and sounds from the movie. The Landspeeder was modeled after the X-34 craft from Star Wars.
This adorable video shows you how much fun kids can have with the Landspeeder:

Floating Hot Tub
If a hot tub isn’t relaxing enough for you, how about a hot tub that floats in the water? The Amstel Hot Tub Tug holds 475 gallons of water and can float on the calm waters of a river, lake or pond.
The hot tub is heated by an on-board wood stove that warms the water to 100° in about 2 1/2 hours. It’s propelled by a 3.2 hp motor that can reach speeds to 3 mph. The battery lasts eight hours and can be charged overnight.
This video shows the hot tub floating on the water:

The Amstel Hot Tub Tug is built in Rotterdam and is available from Hammacher Schlemmer for $25,000.
If buying a floating hot tub is a bit over your budget, you can instead buy a 90 minute ride in a Hot Tug on the River Thames in London. Available on the HotTugUK website, a gift voucher for £220 buys you a 90-minute ride on the Thames.
That way you can can give the fun of floating in a hot tub without paying a huge price tag.
Look how much fun these people are having!

Hello Carolyn,
This one’s is awesome 🙂
I pick up couple of products which I am definitely getting before this year ends. Indeed now days kids do love tech gifts and
since my cousin birthday is in December, I would love to give him the Mini Bat signal, he would love to have it stored
in his room.
Wireless charging pad is something every online person should have. works as a stand and a charger too. My mom would love this
as she do not need to carry cables with her any more at her work and for me I would love to get the wonderboom speaker.
Music is something I need when I am working with my blogs, this keeps me going.
Thanks for this amazing list over here.
Shantanu.

Hi Shantanu, I’m so glad you were able to get great gift ideas for your family. The bat signal light seems like so much fun. And I am loving not having to plug in my iPhone any more.
Make sure that your mother’s phone is compatible with wireless charging. Unfortunately, not all phones have this ability, though I wish all phones did!
The Wonderboom looks amazing. I’m putting that on my wishlist too!
I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season, Shantanu.
