iRewardChart Now in the Android Market!

The estimated reading time for this post is 2 minutes

Imagine my delight this morning when I woke to the exciting news that iRewardChart, The Best App Ever, has arrived in the Android Market. Dear readers, I simply could not wait to let you know this great news. “Is iRewardChart available on Android?” is one of the most comment questions I get from readers of this blog.

iRewardChart App

In case you have missed the articles I have published on this great app (most recently, The Best App Ever! All Star Edition), this app is a mobile star chart that rewards your children for completing tasks. You can customize the app by adding your children, adding their pictures, add individual tasks for each child and creating custom rewards.

The app does double duty of teaching your children responsibility and helping you get more work done around the house. Tired of being a nag? Use iRewardChart incentives instead!

Another common request I get is, “I wish there was an app to help with housework.” There is: iRewardChart! Children become very motivated to get their stars and are much more willing to help out. Make sure you maintain the excitement by using both short and long term rewards for your kids.

What’s better news than iRewardChart being available in the Android Market? It’s free! That’s right, this awesome app is free for a limited time only. So make sure you grab this app today.

Speaking of today, check out the segment on iRewardChart from The Today Show this week:

A word to the wise: the recommended ages for this app end at age 12. I have an older child and find iRewardChart is an effective tool for her as well. So don’t hesitate to grab this app if you have older children. It works great with them too!

In fact, I’m even considering using iRewardChart on myself. Do you have a chore you’ve been putting off, such as clearing out your closet or organizing the garage? Give yourself a star! Now to decide on the reward….

iRewardChart is free for a limited time in the Android Market. Here is the link: iRewardChart in the Android Market

Bottom Line

If you have an Android device, get this Best App Ever today!

Have you used iRewardChart? Have you put off getting an Android phone because iRewardChart wasn’t available yet in the Android Market? Let us know in the Comments section below!

I dont think I would ever put off buying a device because an app is not available but I can see the use of this type of thing!

Hi James, Yes, many people take other factors into consideration. But I know of at least two readers who got an iPhone because they wanted iRewardChart. But now people can get this awesome app on Android and iPhones. I know a lot of Android owners are going to be thrilled at this news!

Thanks so much, James, for visiting and taking the time to leave a great comment!

Thanks, Carolyn, for the post! We downloaded it this morning & are having fun playing with the app. It even motivated all of my kids to get their rooms clean to get their stars today! The app is a bit inconsistent & puts stars in the wrong places. Maybe a glitch? Have a great weekend!

Hi Karen, Welcome to The Wonder of Tech! I’m so glad your kids were instantly motivated by this app, but I’m not surprised. Without this app would your kids have been excited to clean their rooms? Probably not. That’s what makes this app The Best App Ever!

I’m sorry you encountered a glitch in the app. I downloaded the app first thing this morning but didn’t encounter any problems. But the one thing I am very sure of is that the app developer will work very hard to iron out any problems you may be having. The app was just launched today so there may be a kink or two to iron out. No worries, though. the developer will solve this issue quickly, I’m certain.

Thanks so much, Karen, for visiting and leaving your awesome comment!

I think the app is not completely bug-free, as I heard similar issues from elsewhere too. I am sorry, we have kinda put out a version in a kinda hurry, but of course that should never be the reason for having bugs. I will certainly take care of this ASAP, and put out an update. Thanks for downloading.

Thanks Carolyn for the nice writeup. You are the best.

Hi iRewardChart and Karen, I sincerely doubt any app is bug free when it’s launched. Almost every app gets updates for bug fixes. As hard as developers try to test their apps, it is very difficult to test all permutations of an app before launch.

The important thing is to let the developer know when you encounter a glitch so they can fix it. Don’t slam an app in a review but let the developer know so they can update the app to fix the issues.

Hi Eddie, I am happy, but not surprised that your sister loves this app. I’ve never heard of someone who doesn’t love this app: parents and kids!

Thanks so much for your visit and helpful comment! ๐Ÿ™‚
