You know there are deals to be had on the Internet, but where do you find them? Do you just search for “deals” and hope for the best? Where should you begin?
If you’re looking for free ebooks and/or deals on shopping, travel, apps, software and more, one of the first places you should check out is lastreader.com. Think of this website as your home base for savings.
Lastreader.com offers links to websites that have free products and/or deals. You can find things such as:
- Free ebooks
- Free software
- Freebies (free stuff)
- Travel Deals
- Coupons
- Rebates
This website is simple. No need to register for membership or provide your email address. Just head to the site to find links to other sites to get deals, discounts and free goodies.
Free Books
As the name suggests, Lastreader.com offers plenty of free ebooks. The site claims to offer 25 million free ebooks, though we’ll have to take their word for it unless you’re willing to count them…
The free books section links to books on Amazon (for Kindle ereaders and the Kindle app), Project Gutenberg, Barnes & Noble (for Nook ereaders and the Nook app), and more sites.
The Amazon link heads to the Best Seller list of top 100 free Kindle books, which can be difficult to find if you head to Amazon directly. From there you can sort through titles according to genre, such as fiction; humor; mystery, thriller and suspense; non-fiction; romance; science and math; business and money; and more.
But Wait, There’s More!
If Lastreader.com only had links to free ebooks, that would be great. But the deals don’t end there. Other sections of the site include Free Software, that has links to sites such as CNet with, you guessed it, offers of free software including free apps.
The Freebies section has links to sites such as GAOTD (giveaway of the day), that may have offers for free software and apps, Slickdeals, Stack Social and Deals News.
The Travel Deals section has links to websites such as Expedia, Kayak, Travelocity and more. The Coupons section includes links to savings sites such as Coupon Sherpa, Cool Savings and Coupons.com. The Rebates section includes links to MrRebates, RetailMeNot, Ebates and more.
What Else You Need to Know
Although the site is simple, there is a trick that you may need to know. If you use a pop-up blocker, you may need to disable it to use Lastreader.com.
If you click on a link in Lastreader.com but nothing seems to happen, look for a message from your pop-up blocker. If you see that message, check the box to disable the pop-up blocker on this website.
A few links on the site are broken. Use the links in the menu bar at the top of the page for best results in navigating the site.
Also, check out Lastreader’s Pinterest page for pins about saving money.

Hi Carolyn
It’s good to be here again. Last Reader seems pretty interesting to me. I am more interested in giveaways, software instead of e-books. I always prefer the traditional way of reading books as it is easy to read, safe for eyes and moreover, it creates an attachment. Ebooks are the pain for me but who don’t need free software.
Thank you for sharing this. This is new to me.

Hi Jayant, Yes, LastReader also shares deals with free software and apps, not just ebooks. It’s really “one-stop shopping” for a lot of freebies!
