Hi Carolyn,
This sounds fun 🙂
I think those who enjoy sports, whether in their college or otherwise, would love these apps. I didn’t know about the NCAA Tournament as we don’t have them much our end, though we have the other yearly games, and cricket is what rules more our end I would say – when the whole country seems to have ‘cricket fever’ for those many days!
I am not much of a sporty, except the little watching I do, but not all that often. I guess I’d rather watch romantic movies than sports, if given the chance 😉 But I do know a lot of my online friends who’d love to hear of this, so sharing it right away.
Thanks once again for these apps. Have a nice week ahead 🙂

Hi Harleena, You’re absolutely right, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is very exciting. Even people who never watch sports any other time of the year can get into basketball in March. The excitement is contagious, especially if your school is in the tournament.
I’ve been a fan of this tournament since I was in school and this year is especially thrilling because my alma mater, University of Virginia, is one of the top seeds!
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment and share, Harleena. I know a lot of people will be interested in these apps!
Nanda Rahmanius says
Hi Carolyn,
Well, I am not a basketball fan, but I know some friends who’re a fan and how enthusiastic them to the basketball game.
Since I’m a Taekwondo athlete, so I love the martial arts 🙂
I know, a lot of people who love basketball out there, therefore, I share your posts. I hope this can be useful for many people. :-bd
Thanks for sharing this awesome apps, Carolyn.
Hoping you have a nice day.
Regards,
Nanda
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Nanda, Thanks so much for sharing this article. Plenty of people who aren’t basketball fans any other time of the year become basketball fans when it’s time for March Madness!
Kaloyan Banev says
I often do it on my mobile device, due to the fact that I am in very distant time zone currently. So watching in the bed is often a good idea to be done with tablet or phone.
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Kaloyan, Yes, watching the games on a mobile device means you can enjoy the fun almost anywhere!
William Butler says
Hi Carolyn,
I’m not big on basketball per se, but I typically like to see the best of the best perform, so when tournaments come along, I try to set aside some time to catch a little of it. It get’s really exciting when it’s a dead heat and i can go either way. I like the “Must See’ section of the Thuuz app.
Have a great day and weekend coming!
Bill
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says

Kumar Gauraw says
Hi Carolyn,
Coming from Indian background, I got introduced to March Madness through my Toastmaster’s club several years ago. So, I do know about the buzz this month gets in the sports world 🙂
But, I have not spent time watching a game (of any kind) more than 10 hours in last 7-8 years at least. I just don’t get time for all this madness.
Yeah, planning to find some time to watch my boys play as my elder one is just getting ready to learn soccer slowly. But pretty much that’s it for now. We will see how life pans out in months to come.
Regards,
Kumar
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Kumar, Yes, March Madness is certainly the buzz this month. Many people are basketball fans only in March, but then the excitement really grows!
If you do tune into the games you may enjoy them more with these apps by learning more about the games, players and teams. Good luck to your son with soccer!

A billion dollars? Woah, that’s a lot of money..but the odds of getting it are really really really small 😀
(I am guessing they are making a lot of money through that particular app?).
I don’t watch any sports, at least not now (I suppose time is the main issue. Studying, blogging and other stuff don’t really have much time to do watch sports (I do watch other stuff, so I probably have enough time…but I don’t want to abandon those shows for sports!).
I find more enjoyment in playing the game..although I haven’t done that in a while 😀 Now that it is Spring (finally!), I should try and get out more often.
Anyways, thank you for sharing this awesome collection, Carolyn 🙂
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Jeevan, Yes, you’re right, the odds are very small for someone to win the billion dollars. Yesterday there were plenty of upsets and I heard this morning that 95% of the people who entered were eliminated (including me!). It’s probably better to be eliminated early anyway. Can you imagine getting to the finals knowing you have a 50/50 chance of winning and then you lose?
Spring isn’t here yet in the Philadelphia area but the idea of getting outside sounds like a great one!
Jeevan Jacob John says
Yeah, it’s better to get out early…the excitement of getting (a 50-50 chance) in itself can kill us.
And not getting it…well, that can send us into ‘depression’ (or maybe not. I am not a psychologist!).
Hopefully things will get better…we are having crazy weather over here. One day it is warm and sunny (in the 70s), the next day it is in the 30s!
Jayashree says
Hello Carolyn,
Great list of sports apps to keep ourselves updated about the latest happenings of basketball,American football. In India the only sport that gets limelight attention is Cricket and when March hits its madness for Indian Premier League which goes for around two months. Thanks again for this list
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Jayashree, Well, none of these apps cover cricket, I’m afraid, but having lived in the UK I know how passionate people can be about the sport! I’m glad you have your version of March Madness in India, Jayashree.
Wadden Robben says
I have used it for the first time and found the very fabulous experience for watching a tournament live directly on my iPhone.
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Wadden, Welcome to The Wonder of Tech! I’m so glad you’re enjoying these apps. Have fun with March Madness!
