I listen to music through Comcast on TV. They have a lot of music channels.I like.I voted Other because I didn’t see a choice for listening on Tv.

Welcome to The Wonder of Tech! You’re right, I didn’t consider music channels on tv as an option. Good call voting Other, that’s just what that option is for!

    Hi Carolyn,

I listen to music on my iPod every single day. That’s mostly because I walk 45 minutes to work and back. I listen to podcasts as well.

I am a premium member of Spotify and can download unlimited amounts of music to my iPad. It’s brilliant.

Hi Jens, Welcome back to The Wonder of Tech! You are fortunate to have Spotify in Europe. Many Americans look forward to the day when Spotify will arrive on our shores!

You must really enjoy your walks to and from work, listening to your iPod. Have you tried audiobooks? They may make the trip seem too quick. 🙂

I chose multiple options. (Glad your poll allowed for that.) Whenever I power walk, I use my I-pod. It’s also a great way to learn and practice music for my choir. When I just want to listen to music by myself or when I’m entertaining, I love Pandora! In the car, it’s either CDs or the good old-fashioned radio. (I don’t have satellite radio or an I-pod connector in my car, so those are the only options.)

Hi Kathy, Welcome back to The Wonder of Tech! I agree, I also use multiple sources for my music. I use my iPod in the car with a playlist when the whole family is with me and there would be fighting about which radio station to listen to.

If I’m driving by myself in the car, I listen to satellite radio. We got a six month trial subscription to Sirius radio with our car and now I’m hooked! I like the Spa Channel, it’s very relaxing.

If I’m out and about, I listen to Pandora radio. My girls take instrument lessons at a music center and, to avoid hearing all the different music being played by kids having lessons, I tune into Pandora on my iPhone.

      Thanks for voting, Kathy!

Spotify is brilliant, I use it every single day. I am going to test another service called Wimp as well, it’s Norwegian and almost the same as Spotify.

I haven’t listened to any audiobooks yet, but I have been thinking of trying Audible. On the other hand, I really enjoy listening to music while walking and it’s almost the only time I get the chance to listen to music.

Hi Jens, Audible is fantastic, you should give it a try. I don’t think there is a Norwegian website for Audible, but your English seems fluent so maybe the lack of a Norwegian Audible site isn’t an issue. Audible gives you two free books as a trial so you could give it a try. You may find yourself so engrossed by your audiobook, you don’t miss your music as much as you think you would.

Still love the unpredictability of radio. In life everything we watch/listen doesn’t have to be preplanned. Radio gives surprises sometimes, and sometimes it plays a long-lost song.
Pandora is great too, but just doesn’t work in my lifestyle.

Hi iReward Chart! I agree with you about the unpredictability of radio. Sometimes I will listen to a song on the radio that I would have skipped over on my iPad. I think it’s the thrill of the unexpected.
