If you use Safari to browse websites on your iPhone and/or iPad, you have access to new tools that can make the Internet work better for you. Beginning with iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, Safari now lets you add extensions that can help you make the most of your browsing experience.
About Extensions
You may already be using extensions on your computer’s Internet browser. Extensions work in the background when you open a website without you having to do anything. They can perform tasks such as blocking ads, comparing prices on other websites, finding coupons, and filling in your passwords.
Extensions are designed to be useful and you may find that some apps already on your iPhone or iPad may have extensions available. And you can shop for extensions to find helpful ones even if you don’t use the accompanying app.
Many extensions are free to use, while others charge a fee, have in-app purchases, or require a subscription.

How to Add Safari Extensions
Safari extensions became available beginning with iOS 15 and iPad OS 15 in September. If you haven’t yet updated your iPhone or iPad, now would be a good time to take care of that.
To begin using Safari extensions, open the Settings app. Go to Safari => Extensions.
The next screen will show any extensions you’re using, as well as a link for More Extensions. Tap the More Extensions link.
The App Store app will open to the Safari Extensions section. There you can see suggestions for popular extensions that could be useful to you. The App Store also has a list of Top Free and Top Paid extensions.
Tap on the extension to learn more about it. As with app listings, extension listings in the App Store include ratings, reviews, information about updates, and a description of the extension.
As with apps in the App Store app, free extensions have the Get button. You’ll see In-App Purchases for extensions that offer a paid upgrade. You’ll see a button with a price for extensions that cost money to download.
Tap the Get or price button for the extension to download the extension to your iPhone/iPad.
After the extension has finished downloading an Open button will appear. Tap that and follow the instructions to set up the extension in Safari.

How to Manage Safari Extensions
After you’ve downloaded Safari extensions, you may need to adjust some settings, log in to an account, or turn the extension on or off. You can manage extensions by tapping on the AA button in front of the web address. That will open a new menu window.
Tap Manage Extensions in the menu.
Turn extensions on or off using the toggle switch that appears next to the extension.
You can also manage extensions by going to the Settings app, then tapping on Safari => Extensions.

Safari is a good browser. I have a good experience with it on my desktop. But never tried it on my iPhone. Whenever I will try this on my mobile the information shared by you about extensions will definitely help me.

Hi Jubin, You may like using Safari on your iPhone, especially with extensions. You can give it a try, the app is already on your iPhone (unless you deleted it). If not, you can go back to using the browser app you’re using now.
