After you’ve sent your kids off to sleep-away camp and wiped away your tears, or finished doing the happy dance, you may want to send them a care package full of goodies. You could spend hours visiting stores and rounding up some fun gifts, putting them in a box and then heading Off to the post office. Or you could take the easy route and order a care package online. Sealed with a Kiss is a company that will make ordering your camp care package as easy as possible!
Sealed with a Kiss, located at eswak.com, gives you loads of options in creating your camper’s care package. You can choose:
- Custom Care packages
- Ready-to-Go care packages
- Theme care packages
Goodies include items such as indoor and outdoor games, puzzles, brain teasers, magic tricks, stuffed animals, jewelry, cosmetics and items to autograph. Sealed with a Kiss checks with camp regulations to make sure that the items are acceptable. They don’t send items such as food, toy guns, messy items or items that cause loud noises.
Sealed with a Kiss delivers packages within the US, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Packages are sent from Kansas and take 1-5 days to arrive, according to the UPS Ground Deliver Map below. You can choose for the packages to arrive as soon as possible or you can choose a date for them to arrive. The shipping is a flat $11.95 per package or you can upgrade to two-day deliver for $19.95 or next day delivery for $39.95.
The site also has a handy feature called “Shipping Address Help” that will fill in the address for the camp if you provide the camp name. If your child wants to send a care package to a friend but only knows the name of the camp, you can still send a package!
Custom Care Packages
Custom care packages are the easiest way to send a care package, though this option requires a bit of a leap of faith. You first choose the size of the package you want to send and whether it’s going to a boy or a girl. The sizes range from regular (6-7 items) to ultimate (15-16 items), priced between $35 – $100. You answer some questions about your child, such as name, gender and whether they’ve previously been sent a care package. You choose whether you want your child to receive a stuffed animal and an autograph pillow that other campers can sign. If you want to send multiple care packages while your child is away, don’t worry about sending repeat items. Sealed with a Kiss keeps a record of what items are sent and will make sure that there are no repeated goodies in its packages.
You can also write a note saying what your child is like. You can include your child’s favorite color, interests and a brief description of their personality to help the staff choose gifts that your child will love. If your child doesn’t like something, you can include that information as well. If your camper happens to have a birthday while in camp, you can include that information and Sealed with a Kiss will include birthday items so your child can celebrate away from home.
Sealed with a Kiss chooses from over 700 items to include in the care package, based on the information you provide. You find out what was included in the package after you hear from your child how delighted he or she was to receive it!
Ready-to-Go Care Packages
Ready-to-go packages range in price from $25-$62 and are based around a theme, such as Groovy Girl, All Sports, Boys Greatest Hits and Teen Spa Party. With the Ready-to-go packages, you can see what items are included as gifts before you place your order.
Build Your Own Package
If you want to select which specific items go in the package, you can do that on the site as well. The items are organized into categories such as:
- Camp Essentials,
- Lite Up and Glow,
- That’s Just Gross,
- Brainy and Creative,
- Cabin Games and
- Fun Books and Magazines.
You can add as many items as you like to fill up your package.
My Test
I tested out Sealed with a Kiss by sending my oldest daughter a Custom care package. I filled in the information about her, including information about her personality, her favorite color and what she enjoys doing in her free time. The package arrived within two days, as promised, and my daughter was thrilled with her gifts, which included pink sparkly nail polish, a crossword puzzle book, a stuffed animal and other toys. She said they were perfect for her and she especially loved receiving an autograph pillow so she could have her friends sign it.
Bottom Line
If you’re looking for a way to brighten a camper’s day, check out Sealed with a Kiss to send a fun care package the easy way!

Sounds wonderful Carolyn!
Besides the adorable name – Sealed with a Kiss – I think it surely is a powerful package with 700 products that you can choose from! I guess someone would surely have something or the other they could purchase through these fun care packages.
My kids have grown past the age of attending camps now, but yes, if I were in the United States, I think this would be a wonderful way to send a care package full of goodies for them. I’m sure your other daughters would want you to do the same for them too. ๐
Thanks for sharing & Happy Independence Day. ๐
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Harleena, yes, I love the name too. My girls are each getting a care package from Sealed with a Kiss. My oldest daughter went to camp first so I tested this service with her.
My husband and I are empty nesters right now, with our girls all at camp, but we will be going to see fireworks tonight!
Harleena Singh says
Ah..then it’s alright! I was just about wondering how would your other daughters react if only one was getting it. Guess you do take care to be just with all of them, just like a true mother. ๐
Have a nice time today watching the fireworks ๐
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Yes, I don’t think my twins would have been too pleased! But let’s just say that the twins won’t be as surprised as my older daughter was!
Mike Maynard says
I like the use of the S.W.A.K. acronym which I think dates back to wartime; it also means Sociale Wetenschappen Aktiviteiten Kommissie in Dutch ๐
The sun came out here for 5 minutes, a while ago; I thought I would be able to take good photos but perhaps not. I think the rain is about to return, we had about 6 inches of rain in June, twice as much as usual.
The young people around here tend to go to a stately home in summer with the school that the council bought, or they go to some kind of centre in the Welsh Mountains. Wouldn’t it be fun to ask them to send a package up a mountain? ๐
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Mike, yes, I think campers would especially appreciate a care package that was hauled up a mountain!
A friend of mine on Facebook posts about the cold, rainy Summer you are having in England. Many people here in the US who are suffering through a heat wave and wildfires probably envy your weather!
Hajra says
This looks interesting. I should recommend this to my sister. Her husband’s nephew is going for a summer camp and they would love it to do something special. This is going to be the little one’s first camp! ๐
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Hajra, I think it’s especially valuable for first-time campers to get reminders of love from home! Thanks so much for sharing this, Hajra. I hope their nephew has a wonderful time at camp!
Bruce Sallan says
My son wants ONE THING from me while away at camp – lots of letters in the mail and clippings of the new movie reviews. I oblige with lengthy diary-style letters every summer. He’s kept all of them and actually reads them again and again. And, to think I think he never listens to me!
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Bruce, That’s a wonderful tradition you have with your son! I still have the letters I wrote home from camp when I was a teenager and those that my family wrote to me. These items are definitely keepsakes! ๐
Adam Snyder says
That is pretty cool. I like the Boys Greatest Hits package, it looks like something I would enjoy.

Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Adam, Yes, the Boys Greatest Hits package is a lot of fun. Sealed with a Kiss has a lot of other fun packages you might enjoy too! ๐
dadblunders says
What a wonderful idea! My son isn’t old enough yet for camp (thank goodness…I am not quite ready for him to go) but it is definitely something I will be saving for future reference. I love the way they customize it based on answers to questions. It is something I can tell would be well worth sending to your child to let them know you are thinking of them. Thank you for the information!!
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Dadblunders, Yes, it’s very difficult when you first send your child off to sleep away camp, until you start to revel in the freedom. I loved camp when I was growing up and my kids share in my passion. Care packages are a great way of showing you’re thinking about them, plus they love getting goodies at camp!
Bill Dorman says
What if we sent them somewhere else to live? I guess that could still work, huh?
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Bill, Good point. Care packages can be delivered to other places such as college dorms, hospitals, boarding schools and prisons! :-bd
Adrienne says
Sounds like a campers dream. Now that’s pretty fun and like you said, it can be sent really to anyone. I think campers might appreciate the goodies more though! ๐
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Adrienne, Yes, the gifts are really geared towards kids, but we’re all kids at heart, right? ๐
Jens P. Berget says
aha! I get it. From the title I thought this was something special for me since I’m currently living in a tent ๐
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Jens, Yes, you definitely deserve a care package for “roughing it” in a tent for so long! :-bd
Jemmy says
To start with, it is a catchy heading. I opened this post and started to read because I found the topic too intresting and attractive though I dint understand what would it be about, and to my surprise, I couldnt even think that it was about a gift package which is so cool. Really a great post put up so well.
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Jemmy, Welcome to The Wonder of Tech! I’m glad you enjoyed the post and the headline. Thank you for your kind words!
Carlos says
Such a wonderful concept, I just wish there would have been this package when I was a kid, so my mom would surely send me some cool games and goodies. I am sad, I missed it but surely would not let it happen with my kids. This will be my first priority next time they go camping. Thanks for the share.
Derek J. Maak says
Hey Carolyn,
I have bookmarked the website. My wife and I are expecting our first in February 2013 so it will be a few years before I can test this out on my own kids. However, nieces and nephews are fair game. ๐ Looks like I’m in the 3 day range out here in Idaho.
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Derek, Welcome to The Wonder of Tech! Congratulations on your big news!
Yes, I imagine it will be a few years before you’re ready to send your child off to sleep away camp, but this site is a great resource to use for sending care packages to nieces and nephews.

Terrance says
The concept of sending and recieving gifts or surprise packages have always been making me happy. Recieving surprise presents are always a treat and the pleasure is not explainable. Same way the kids would love to get goodies and gifts at their camp sites, sometimes it may give them a feeling of pride.
Aditya says
“Sealed with a Kiss” ….. wow!! The title itself steeled everything.
What else a child needs except a kiss from her parents when going for a camp and for the first time.Sending them these care packages is a great idea to let our children know how they are being missed back home. ๐
An admirable way to show care and love,Awesome.
Carolyn, i hope similar packages can be sent to the children who are living in daycare homes as well. They also need some love which is “sealed with a kiss”. ๐ ๐
