Are you celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this weekend? Will you be using apps to enhance your enjoyment of the big day? Let us know in the Comments section below!
I agree, Carolyn!
We really don’t have to be Irish to celebrate St.Patricks Day coming this weekend. I also was wondering the real purpose of such days and went online to read more about why it’s celebrated and how it all started. I guess it’s always good to know about how such days originated, whether we celebrate it or not. ๐
Lovely apps once again, though I just wish I had the kind of gadgets to use them – perhaps by next year my kids might go in for one as I rarely use it.
Thanks for sharing these apps with us. Happy weekend and St. Patricks Day too. ๐
Hi Harleena, Yes, St. Patrick’s Day is a fun and happy holiday that seems to put almost everyone in a good mood. There aren’t a lot of expectations, other than to have fun!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts today, Harleena. Have a super weekend!
Hi Carolyn,
This doesn’t really interest me. I wasn’t even sure when St Partrick’s Day was. I used to grow 4 leafed clovers though. They are said to be lucky and people search the fields for them. They are in fact a different species of clover. There was a guy who had a garden full of them, he dried them and sold them. He made a good living from them! I struggled to keep mine alive! they died in the end, I think because my family wouldn’t leave them alone!
Hi Mike, Yes, St. Patrick’s Day isn’t celebrated in the UK. Here in the US it’s a very big deal. We have a saying here that everyone is Irish on March 17th! I’ve heard the Irish say that we celebrate St. Patrick’s in the US more than they do in Ireland.
My grandfather was born on St. Patricks day, so it’s a day when I always reflect on his life and remember the time that I spent with him. He didn’t care much for St. Patrick’s day, but I like that the day is marked with lots of celebration! These are cool apps Carolyn!
Hi Ruth, Very cool that your grandfather’s birthday was St. Patrick’s Day! Yes, everyone is celebrating anyway so it’s easy to get together for a party. What a wonderful way to remember your grandfather.
I’m so glad you like these apps, Ruth. I think there’s something for almost anyone to enjoy!
Indeed, these apps are seems fun to use!! I’m very excited to read about each app details :). To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day these apps are great. I’m looking forward to try out “Bubble Blast Saint Patrick”. Thanks.

Enjoy your weekend!
I worked at 48th and Fifth Ave. and could watch many St. Pat parades from my office. So many were on very cold days and I felt sorry for the young girls marching in their short skirts. After work it was sometime difficult to get around the large number of drunks who had been overly celebrating.
Hi Jerry, Wow, you didn’t need an app to enjoy the festivities of the St. Patrick’s Day parade! But maybe you would have preferred one? ๐
So It is going to be green weekend mate!!! ๐
I just love it when technology does more than just recreation. With these apps, not only you can wallow in the spirit of St.Patricks Day, but also have fun while doing it.
Thanks for this wonderful share Carolyn.

I never thought there are so many apps available in the app market. App developers are really very innovative. St. Patricks Cam seems to be a great fun app. Specially the kids will love this app.
Hi James, Welcome to The Wonder of Tech! Yes, there certainly are a lot of apps in the different app markets. I try to find the best ones to share here with readers.
You’re right, St. Patrick’s Cam is a fun one for kids, as is Coloring St. Patrickโs Day HD. I hope there is something here for everyone!
Thank You Carolyn. You are doing a great job picking up great apps and reviewing them. But I must say that , replying to each and every comment is something that I have never seen in any other blog. I can assume the amount of hard work and dedication you have towards your blog. Thank you.
You’re very welcome, James. I am grateful that readers take the time to comment here so I want to respond in kind. ๐
You always find the funnest things Carolyn and for every occasion.
I’m not a big St. Patrick’s Day person and I certainly don’t care if I wear green or not but I know a lot of people who love to celebrate. It can be fun though, I’ve been to a few bars on that day and there was definitely a good time had by all. Not anymore though, I’m so much more laid back now.
~Adrienne
Hi Adrienne, Yes, tech can be so much fun, can’t it? I can’t help wearing green on St. Patrick’s Day, even though I’m not Irish. My husband is part Irish, so I’m the only one in my family who isn’t. Our family definitely gets in the spirit of the day!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you had a great day even though you didn’t celebrate the holiday, Adrienne!
Carolyn, saw your nice comment on Triberr so stopped by. Nice research on cool St. Patrick’s Day apps.
Hi Astro Gremlin, So wonderful to have you back here at The Wonder of Tech! I’m so glad you like these apps, Astro. I hope you had a fabulous St. Patrick’s Day!
I have never celebrated St. Patrick’s day before, but the apps you’ve reviewed sure looks interesting. I bet my kids would love them even more than me ๐ I have a goal this year and that’s to run a half marathon in Ireland in September. I have always wanted to visit the coast of Ireland and the small villages, and what better way to do it than to run ๐
Hi Jens, Very cool that you’ll be running in a half marathon in Ireland this fall. I was just in New York City this weekend and there was a half marathon today so my daughter and I got to see a lot of the runners after the race. Very impressive!
Where is your half marathon? There are so many beautiful areas of Ireland, you’re bound to be inspired by the vistas.
Yes, your kids will enjoy these apps even if they don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The apps are fun and festive any time of year!
The half marathon is in Dingle, I believe it’s on the west coast of Ireland, but not really sure ๐
Dingle is stunning, Jens. Your breath may be taken away more by the scenery than your run! ๐
Thank you for all these ideas of application for our smartphone, the Saint Patrick’s Day is crowned in Ireland, Bubble Blast Saint patrick it’s my favorite application.
Welcome to The Wonder of Tech, VTT Nice! I’m so glad you’re enjoying these apps, Bubble Blast Saint Patrick in particular. I hope you had a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day!
St. Patrickโs Day is a super fun day and I really enjoy this day.
Thanks for sharing these apps Carolyn.
I have tried using them and I must say that they are amazing ones. The Live app is the one that will keep me connected because I wont be able to make it to the location.
Hi James, I’m so glad you are enjoying these apps. I hope you had a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day!
Carolyn,
What a great variety of apps and programs to use on St. Patrick’s day.
I downloaded two of the apps. I downloaded the apps to send my kids a picture with the St. Patrick’s day frame. We are Irish and I am excited to hear how they liked their pictures.
I liked your post. It was fun.
