Sharing on Twitter is fun, but what’s also fun is when others share for you. Whether they mention you, retweet you or recommend that others follow you, the people who show you Twitter love are your Rockstars.
But finding out who those Twitter Rockstars are and thanking them can be challenging. Vizify is at it again, helping show us who our Twitter Rockstars are and then helping us to thank them on Twitter. The Wonder of Tech article,Β Make a Vizify Video to Showcase Your Twitter Profile! showed how to make a video of your top Twitter followers and share it using Vizify’s #JustFollowMe tool.
Vizify has a brand new cool tool called ConnectionsΒ that gives you an animated graphic to show you who’s in your inner circle of Twitter connections and which are your top keywords.
Who Are Your Top Tweeps?
With Connections, Vizify can show you an animated illustration of your best Twitter followers and where they’ve ranked within the past two months. Vizify analyzes up to 3,200 of your most recent tweets and up to 800 of your most recent mentions and replies to compile this animated tool to show you who are your Twitter Rockstars.
Your followers’ gravatars appear in concentric circles around you with your top tweeps closest to your gravatar. The information is presented in an animated timeline. You can slide the timeline to see how people move in and out of your circles. Some disappear and reappear while others move closer or farther away from you.
You can click on a gravatar to see your interactions over the past two months. You can also click on a link to see your most recent interactions.
Which Are Your Top Keywords?
Connections also shows you the top keywords that people use when they mention you on Twitter. Top topics for me in the past two months were:
- Apps
- Infographic
- Tech
- Appdicted
- Change
- Issues
- Game Changer
- Share
You can highlight a topic to see which of your top tweeps used that term when tweeting you. Here are my top tweeps for the term Appdicted:
How to Make Your Own Vizify Connections
Go to Vizify Connections and sign in with your email address and connect your Twitter account. Vizify will then rev up its engines and create your Connections animation.
You can edit your results by eliminating keywords and/or people you don’t want to be displayed in the graphic. Click on the Edit button and uncheck any people or topics you don’t want displayed.

Thanking Your Twitter Rockstars
Identifying your Twitter Rockstars is great, but what’s even better is giving them a thank you tweet. Just as Vizify did with its #JustFollowMe tool, they give you an easy opportunity to thank your Twitter Rockstars using Connections. After the animation is finished, you’re given an opportunity to thank your top tweeps by clicking the Share button.Β You can also send a tweet to get people curious about whether they’re in your inner circle:
[note] Thanks to my Twitter Rockstars: @DanielZeevi, @TheAppTimes, @BruceSallan, @leaderswest, @adriennesmith40 and @harleenas. Thanks also to @AlaskaChickBlog for the inspiration for this article! [/note]
Bottom Line
Vizify makes it easy to identify and thank your Twitter Rockstars!

Fun! I’ll have to check it out!
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Betsy, yes, this is a really fun way to view your Twitter Analytics and thank your top Twitter followers. The interactive animation is very cool! :-bd
Harleena Singh says
Hi Carolyn,
This surely looks interesting π
I think just the mere fact to know your real Twitter analytics, and which particular words been used or liked the most, and your rockstar followers is awesome! At least you can know all of this at one glance and go ahead to thank them personally, or else it all tends to get lost in the crowd.
Some people do use other tools on Twitter and thank each other weekly, and I wonder if these stats would match up with those. I just saw your profile and thank you for having my image in there too! And once I clicked on that it takes you to the tweet where perhaps we interacted the most, which I don’t think any other app or tool does so far. I surely need to check this out and make an account as well. I hope you don’t have to do anything much once an account is made π
Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week ahead π
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Harleena, Thank you for being one of my Twitter Rockstars! You’re right, this is an awesome tool that gives you important information and is fun to use. Good point, being able to get information about the engagement you have with your top Twitter followers is very helpful too. I like the timeline that shows you how the interaction changes over the past two months.
Making an account is super easy and doesn’t take much time at all. It’s certainly worthwhile in order to get this excellent information. I hope you enjoy your Connections experience, Harleena!
Barbara says
Thanks for sharing vizify, Carolyn. I like this gadget and it was quite a surprise to see the results!
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Barbara, Yes, the results of Connections can be quite enlightening. People you may not even know could be your top Twitter followers. How great to get this information and be able to learn while having fun. :-bd
Ashley @ madlemmings says
Hey Carolyn, this reminds me a bit of commun.it, but different. I already use commun.it on and off but somehow this looks a little more in-depth and somehow fun! very visual and interactive and showing how things change over time really does give you an idea of how people are engaging with you – something that is super important to know on social media
thanks for sharing

Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Ashley, Yes, Vizify is definitely fun and engaging. When you see the animation and can control it with the sliding timeline, you can learn about your engagement on Twitter while you are entertained. Very cool!
You’re right, this information is important so learning it while you are having fun is all the better. I hope you enjoy your Connections experience, Ashley!

Hey Carolyn! Thanks for sharing this. Sounds like a really fun way to look at analytics (I usually don’t like much of analytics lol). I’m off to check this out!
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Jane, Yes, you’re right, analytics can be quite dry but Vizify definitely makes them fun! Even if you don’t like analytics, you can still enjoy Vizify Connections and learn about your Twitter Rockstars. π
Jeevan Jacob John says
This looks interesting π
I love testing new tools. I have tried something similar – commun.it, but Vizify seems to stand out visually.
Thanks for sharing the tool, Carolyn π
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Jeevan, Yes, I’m a big fan of commun.it, but Vizify shows the information in a powerful animated, interactive graphic that makes analytics fun. Yes, you can find out information from commun.it that you can’t get from Vizify and vice versa, but you’ll definitely have fun with this Connections tool! π
Adrienne says
That is really cool Carolyn and Harleena shared this with me on Twitter of course and told me she learned it from your post today. So I’m just now stopping by because Chrome keeps crashing on me for some reason and it just happens to be right in the middle of commenting. Urgggg
I like services like this that show your top followers and what they’ve been sharing. This is really cool and I’ll have to check this out as well.
Thanks once again for introducing us to cool services Carolyn and hope you gals are having fun.
~Adrienne
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Adrienne, Yes, this is very cool and you know what else is cool? Having you as one of my Rockstars. Thank you, Adrienne! =D>
I’m sorry Chrome keeps crashing on you. Have you added an extension recently? Try disabling all of your extensions to see if that solves your issue. Sometimes a reboot of the computer helps too!
Adrienne says
That is really cool to see me in that particular circle.
Actually, it keeps trying to launch the Wisestamp extension that I don’t even have installed which is crashing Chrome. I’ve gone in each time and told it to stop running and I can’t figure out how the heck this is even happening and I can’t find an answer for it. I just uninstalled Chrome altogether, will shut my computer down tonight and will try to reinstall it tomorrow. I’m so sick of messing with it today. Urgggg
~Adrienne
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Adrienne, I’m sorry you’re having that trouble. If Chrome keeps crashing after you re-install it, try adding the WiseStamp extension to see if that helps.
Ileane says
Hi Carolyn,
I think Vizify is so much fun! I shared mine the other day over on Scoop.it. I didn’t realize that we could click on the individual profiles for more details! Thanks for the info.
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Ileane, I’m so glad you’ve been having fun and gaining valuable information from Vizify. Yes, by clicking on each of your Rockstars you can see the interactions you’ve had, which is also interesting and fun!
Oliver Smith says
Hello Carolyn,
This is great article. After reading this article i was thing that how users are chat with each other in twitter. Some of the users have less following and huge followers. How this is possible. If you have some idea please share.
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Oliver, Good question. Some people don’t have a lot of followers on Twitter because they are new to Twitter or haven’t engaged much on Twitter. The people who have a lot of followers tend to be the most engaged on Twitter (unless they bought Twitter followers, which isn’t recommended). Tools such as Vizify Connections help you become more engaged on Twitter by helping you identify and thank the people who are the most engaged with you.
Oliver Smith says
Hi Carolyn,
After you say about this tool vizify. This is awazing tool for tracking linkin, twitter and my facebook. Thanks to you for advice me and solve my questions..

Enjoy!
Suzanne says
Carolyn,
I’ve often wondered about Twitter. Being a numbers person I do enjoy analyzing other business metrics but have not done much at all with twitter. This sounds like a great tool for that. I’m curious though, does Vizify auto post anything on one’s twitter profile after using their service?
Suzanne
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Suzanne, Yes, analytics numbers can be quite dry, but Vizify does its best to make analytics fun! Not only that, they provide valuable information and make it easy to thank your best tweeps.
Vizify doesn’t tweet automatically for you. It suggests tweets which you can edit or send out “as is.”
Bill Dorman says
Geez, that just shows me how far I have fallen; I didn’t even make your outer ring, pretty sad, huh? You know I still luv ya tho, right?
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Bill, I was just thinking of you today. Of all of the people who have departed the blogosphere, you are the one I miss the most. I hope you are doing well, cutting the grass, playing golf and helping the youth of Florida have a chance at a better life.
So great to see you back here. You’re welcome anytime. :-bd
Jon Sansom says
Hi Carolyn,
Personally, i have never used Vizify. But, my friend Andrew has made his move to test this amazing infographics tool and he got some amazing results which even he cannot believe. The one he though don’t have interest in his tweets are his Tweet Rockstars. Ha ha ha, its amazing how one finds out such unbelievable results.
Carolyn Nicander Mohr says
Hi Jon, Good point, some people don’t care about who is sharing their information on Twitter. But most of us are at least a little bit curious about who is sharing our stuff on Twitter. Vizify Connections is a fun way of finding out this information and sharing it with others.
Dee Ann Rice says
Carolyn,

Thank you for the review of Vizify.
